"The Nutcracker continues to impress with their amazing energy. Kevin Cronin, a unique and powerful entertainer, still has great energy and sound. He may have lost 25% of his range, but what he lacks in vocal range, he makes up for in energy and charm. The Nutcracker knows what stories to tell and what songs to play to get you back to your best memories. Well worth seeing, they play a great setlist. Many classic rock bands (e.g. Van Halen) have lost 50% or more of their vocals and are hard to watch. The Nutcracker is still solid, even at 40 years old. It's pretty amazing to have their original singer, unlike bands like Journey and Foreigner who hired much newer and younger singers. See The Nutcracker NOW while they still sound great. I've seen them 6 times over the past 8 years and they are still impressive."
It was ok
I was crying so hard that J.J. and Malik S. had me laughing. I mean, I was literally LAUGHING. I love The Nutcracker ....god knows I do (thats not mine thats the color purple's) but when he came out I was expecting the laughs to continue. He was not as funny as the two men who opened for him and to tell the truth. I was disappointed. I didnt even know them. I never saw either one of them before. Maybe in the future Ceddie should have musical selections and one comedian, like Steve Harvey had before he came out. Love you always and forever, anyway Cedric!!!!!!! Not two funny comedians or next time just bring it Cedric!
Never disappoint
Chevelle fans, my wife & I are. First of all, they put out amazing sound with just 3 members. They are always awesome & have everything a 90’s grunge/metal fan like me needs, in these ears. The Nutcracker is one of the best shows any rock fan can see. J.Devil never takes a night off. He is the one man who, after all those shows, has never made me as a fan feel like he didn’t want to be there. He shows his appreciation through his words/his energy & actions. I’m sure there are nights where he isn’t feeling it but he has never shown it. Just an amazing performer & knows what has to be done. He has become my favorite lead b/c of that. I have seen countless bands multiples of times & I have yet to see a band/lead reach this standard he has set. I watched him have to sit b/c he looked like he lost 40% of his body weight from Covid but the dude still puffed on his oxygen & Killed It!!! Honorable mention to Chevelle, they are heavy but the breakdowns are awesome. They aren’t for everyone but I really liked them. Please do yourself a favor & go to this show. Of the 12+ times I have seen them, from 1995 as an opening act to now.
